IMPORTANT: COVID-19 RESPONSE MESSAGE

PLEASE READ AS THE INFORMATION HAS CHANGED. At Hope in the Mountains, we understand that COVID-19 (or coronavirus) has caused concern for all of us. While information regarding the virus is changing rapidly, we want you to know that Hope in the Mountains is taking steps to keep our patients, their families, our staff, and our community safe.

Are we accepting new patients?

Yes. We are taking new inpatient clients at this time. We are also now accepting referrals for our residential and outpatient programs both in person and via telehealth.

What precautions are we taking?

In remaining committed to providing a safe environment for our clients and staff, we are screening all incoming admissions for risks associated with COVID-19. For more information about our specific precaution measures, feel free to call us at (606) 874-0240 or by email at hitm@hopeinthemountains.org.

Are we continuing with visitation and meetings?

To protect the health of our residents and staff, we are discontinuing in-person visitations, passes, and attendance at community self-help meetings through the month of March. We are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will take the Governor’s recommendations on how to proceed. We believe that a supportive network is vital to recovery, so we are offering video visitations for our residents and their family and friends as an alternative to our regular in-person visitations. The Hope in the Mountains staff is dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible and have set up HIPAA compliant video visitations for all of our patients. If you are a family or friend who wishes to utilize a video visitation with your loved one, feel free to contact us at (606) 874-0240.
